The Brazilian Universities International Cooperation Group (GCUB), in partnership with the Cervantes Institute, announces a new opportunity to apply for benefits aimed at its member institutions. The initiative is open to students, faculty, and technical-administrative staff of GCUB member universities.
The benefits are offered by the eight Instituto Cervantes units in Brazil, located in Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Curitiba (PR), Porto Alegre (RS), Recife (PE), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Salvador (BA), and São Paulo (SP). The Instituto Cervantes is the main institution responsible for the dissemination of the Spanish language and the culture of Spain and Hispanic countries worldwide.
Among the exclusive benefits offered through the GCUB–Instituto Cervantes partnership are: free placement test, free access to the library's virtual library card, 25% discount on all Spanish courses, and 25% discount on taking the DELE proficiency exam.
The target audience includes undergraduate and graduate students, professors, and members of the technical and administrative staff of institutions associated with GCUB.

The deadline for registration is February 27, 2026, at 23:45 PM. Benefits will be available starting March 2, 2026. After that date, interested parties may contact the Cervantes Institute directly to access the benefits. There is no limit to the number of registrations per university.
