DERI and DGA receive a delegation from the Ministry of Finance of Mozambique for an exchange on centralized purchasing.

The Executive Directorate of International Relations (DERI) participated, on February 2nd, in a meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Mozambique, held at the General Directorate of Administration (DGA) of Unicamp. The visit aimed to learn about the best practices of the University's centralized purchasing project, implemented in 2023, recognized as a benchmark in modernization and efficiency of procurement processes.

The Mozambican delegation was in São Paulo for an institutional agenda organized with the support of the Court of Auditors of the State of São Paulo (TCE-SP), which indicated Unicamp as a case study in the area of ​​public procurement. Participants in the meeting included Unicamp's Deputy Chief of Staff, Zigomar Menezes de Souza; the International Cooperation Assistant from DERI, Pedro Renato de Moraes Oliveira; and, representing DGA, the Deputy Director, Danilo Jorge Zanetti, as well as other staff members.

During the meeting, representatives from DGA presented the structure, operational flows, and results of the centralized procurement project, highlighting gains in transparency, process streamlining, and administrative efficiency. DERI accompanied the visit, contributing to institutional dialogue and strengthening international cooperation in the area of ​​university public management.
