On May 9th, the Executive Board of International Relations (DERI) of Unicamp received Professor Oleg Korneev, from Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs da Higher School of Economics (HSE), from Russia, for a meeting aimed at strengthening academic cooperation between the two institutions.
The following participants from Unicamp were Rafael Dias, director of International Relations; Milena Serafim, director of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FCA); André Biancarelli, advisor to the Pro-Rectorate of University Development (PRDU) and professor at the Institute of Economics; Alcides Peron, professor at FCA; and Felipe Sampaio, international cooperation assistant at DERI.
During the meeting, Professor Korneev introduced the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, an academic unit of the HSE that carries out interdisciplinary studies in the areas of global economy and international relations.
The visit focused on building strategic partnerships and fostering joint initiatives in the areas of teaching and research. Among the possibilities discussed were the creation of exchange programs, the organization of summer schools and the holding of seminars with the participation of students and faculty from both universities.
